Party with Michaels and Hometalk.com!

I AM SO EXCITED!

First off:
We have a new contributor!
My good friend Kymee will be assisting in projects
and events with me, so awesome to have help!

Secondly:
I was asked by Hometalk.com and Michael's Crafts
to play hostess at their next Pinterest Party
Michael's locations all across the country will be partying it up!
Check here for a location near you.

So what will we be making??
Many things, anything, whatever you want!
There will be end caps full of suggestions and supplies
All of which are Pinterest worthy!

I will be instructing the following which I created this week:
Stunning terra cotta pots with gold leafing.
Low cost with major impact!
A quick and easy way to dress up any space
and bring in some plant life without spending $$$ on the container.
(Plants purchased at local nursery, Michael's carries a large selection of artificial plants though!)

I also decided that the popular Stretched Burlap Canvas
would be a fun one to work with.
I did a quick paint job with acrylic paint
and allowed it time to dry.

I LOVE cross stitch!
I went with a traditional folk "Tree of Life" but simplified it
for a more modern/minimalist feel.
Michael's has a fantastic selection of threads!
With so many beautiful colors on display,
this will not be my last cross stitch on the burlap canvas!

Now what could make this event better???
How about winning a $100 gift card???????????

So in conclusion:
Check out the Pinterest inspired displays at your local Michaels store, buy your supplies, and meet us in the classroom to create your own pin-worthy project!

I will be at the Tucson, AZ location on Broadway BLVD.
Hope to see you there!!!!!
