Getting Creative at Home Tour Feature

I'm excited be at the start of the
2013 Getting Creative at Home Tour!
It was created when a group of non-Haven goers had a wee pity party.
We decided to turn that pity party into an awesome, blog-hopping, creative party!

I'm still a "baby blog" and have a limited selection (I think) but picked one of my favorite projects to share this morning on the tour.

I have obvious fan favorites:

But MY favorite project to date, is my kitchen!
Probably because it has gotten the most love and attention so far.
Starting with a bare, brand new kitchen has really been awesome.
Except, I've had to purchase ALL new stuff pretty much!
So it is a long, forever going on project.

BEFORE:
Just days before build completion/moving in October 2012.

STAGE 1:
 Painted cabinets/back wall. Pendants hung.

STAGE 2:
Hardware added, main walls painted, and pantry door painted.

CURRENT STAGE:
More decor, painted table, new dining light fixture, rug.

So, let's recap.

  5. LOVE this! I can see why it's your favorite. I am dying to paint my kitchen cabinets but hubby and I are at an impasse. He loves the stained oak cabinetry and I hate it. It has great bones, though and I think it would look fab painted. Keep your fingers crossed! In the meantime, I'll just admire your beautiful kitchen. You did a fantastic job! :)
