Is the BESTEST OF THE BEST of bagel sandwiches.

Hubby loved it and declared it the most fantastic thing ever.
I have made one daily for a week!
So how do you recreate this masterpiece?
Here ya go:
For the caramelized pears
(for 2 sandwiches, if you're nice enough to share):
1 FIRM Pear, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp white or red wine vinegar
Mix vinegar, sugar, & butter.
Heat in small skiller over medium heat, add pears.
Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
I usually start my pears and move on to:
Crisping 3 slices of bacon or prosciutto.
Toasting me plain bagel.
Slicing the brie into lovely 1/4 inch slices
Place the brie on the bottom with hot bacon on top.
This will give you a to die for creamy, melted brie!
Top with pears and serve!
(I also like to spread some fig jam on the top piece!)
And there you have it.
Not overly sweet.
Oh so tasty.
Prosciutto lightly crisped tastes lovely in place of bacon!
Or try some pancetta, yum!
