Neptune Blue Dresser

I let my 5 year old son pick out the shade of blue for his new dresser.
He picked:

I found the dresser on Craigslist (of course) and liked the shape.

But I was not feeling the ancient/cheap glam-gold on off-white.
And of was laminate.

So I primed with two coats of Zinsser (gold can):

I loved the natural pantina and distress of the hardware, so I just gave it a good wash.
I love how the white handles pop against the blue.

It isn't totally dry in the picture, but I was too excited to wait!
I'm really happy with it
and most importantly, so is he.
